Breakfast in your house

Hello Mumsnet,
Me and my friends were talking the other night and does anyone else feel like it's an absolute mission to get something healthy into their kids and out the door during the week?! At the weekends it's so much easier and breakfast is a treat, but during the week feels like a chore!

Has anyone got any hacks to help for weekday mornings? I just want to make sure I'm setting them up right for the day ahead.

Pancakes, eggs and bacon on weekends.

Oats with an egg added and some honey to disguise the taste plus banana or berries.

Or: blend one very ripe banana with one egg and enough oats to make a pancake consistency. Then make pancakes. Very nice cooked in coconut oil.

Buttery scrambled egg and toast.

If in a rush it will be a croissant and some fruit.

Sorry I didn't give any hacks! I guess mine is to have it cooking by the time the kettle has boiled for my morning coffee. The kettle is my timer and gets my butt into gear. Could that be a hack?!

We have a piece of fruit (apple, banana, pear) followed by cereal, yogurt, toast with peanut butter, or porridge, of course. TBH, DC1 would rather play than eat in the mornings. Childcare also provides an early morning snack. They probably know that many children won`t have eaten breakfast at home.

Greek yoghurt, fruit and granola is the current choice in our house at the moment.
