Any alternative healthy treats for kids (instead of chocolate and biscuits?)

My children are starting to eat too many bought biscuits - they love dried cranberries but when they go swimming, I would like to take some healthy snacks (quick to make) rather than taking biscuits (or fruit)

My two love cheese and apple cut into chunks in a pot (together). Doesn't keep too long because the apple will go brown but okay for an hour.

Homemade flapjacks - easy to make, cheap, chuck in dates or apricots or sultanas or whatever, filling too for after swimming.

My dcs love oatcakes with jam or honey (actually I buy fruit spread which is like jam but sweetened with fruit juice rather than sugar - from health food shops).
Oh, sorry, not so good for taking out.

Breadsticks? Mixture of nuts/seeds/raisins?

homemade flapjacks sound like a great idea - and breadsticks. DS never seems to eat cheese (yet) Thank you!
