Easily transportable dinner party meal

Sorry really odd request but can I ask if anyone has any suggestions for me please. I’m going to a dinner party tomorrow night. I have some of allergies and intolerances so have offered to bring my own. I don’t go out much so this is a big deal to me and I’m very nervous. Can anyone think of an easy meal that doesn’t look too basic that I can bring to the party. I can’t eat eggs, nuts or shell fish.

a stew / casserole in a tupperware that you can put in the microwave? to eat with the hosts bread or potatoes?

What allergies and intolerances do you have? Hard to suggest recipes without knowing.
I'd usually go for something like a Thai green curry or a Middle eastern lamb pilaf with spices and fruits. But they may be full of things you can't eat.

Tbh I'd ask what the host is making for everyone else and make myself something similar (obviously catering for your dietary requirements) so that it will be easy for the host to plate and when dining it's not immediately obvious that your having something different.

For example if the starter is a shellfish soup I'd take a tomato and basil soup. If it was a salad containing nuts I'd maybe take a tomato/avocado/mozzarella salad.

I'd try and stick to things that can easily be reheated in a microwave or not need re-heating at all - simply so you're not effectively forcing the cook to be pulling their food out the oven/off the hob to accommodate your food.

A pp suggested a stew - what about a tagine? They a better made ahead and would re-heat beautifully in a microwave. You could take cous cous with you given you just need to pour boiling water on it.

Have a good time!

What are your allergies and intolerances? Then we can help!

The OP has already said she can't eat eggs/shellfish/nuts.

I’m having this tonight. It’s quick and easy and very tasty. You could buy a disposable foil tray to make it in.

do you mean your own one plated meal.or something to offer and share.
don't be scared.the fears will build up lots more in your head than the reality will be and thinking like that will only send you spiraling.
I know it can be hard but your going to a friends right?so all will be well.they want you there.
and remember everyone has their quirks or bits we do that other might look at,gigle at or think random.so don't feel focused on because of any you might see in yourself.i gaurentee no one else will see it if you don't focus in on it.
just go expecting nothing but a lovely time and it will be so.
what other dishes are they having.
do you feel comfortable with any particular dish?
would you like it to be a sauce based or something easy to picky at.
