Co Op garlic and herbs Le Roule.

Sainsbury's Blacksticks blue is good value and a change from blue stilton, and another vote for their Truffle Cheddar.

Another vote for Blacksticks blue. It’s always the most popular when I do a cheese board.

Comte cheese - hard cheese, quite mild but with a slightly nutty flavour, yum

I second Black Bomber

FoofFighter · 17/12/2018 20:52

Castillo pineapple cheese Blush

Our basic rule is: Something hard, something soft, something stinky, something fruity and something different
Plus butter, good crackers, chutney and grapes.

Aldi do a potted Stilton. I think most supermarkets do at this time of year. It's lovely 😊

Wow - so many answers! Thanks, everyone!

Cheese inspires passion!

Calzone · 17/12/2018 21:54

Definitely Sainsbury’s Blacksticks Blue.

TefalTester123 · 17/12/2018 21:58

I second the Montagnolo d'Affine sold by Waitrose and bigger Sainsbury's. it has won international awards. Made by the same company as the Cambozola also mentioned above I believe.

wowfudge · 17/12/2018 22:13

Brillat Savarin from Ocado - Waitrose may also do it. Gorgeous and creamy and very moreish.

I'd suggest going to a cheesemonger. Some of the stuff on here looks and sounds seriously grim. Plastic-wrapped supermarket brie?
