Please don't lecture me on the importance of giving LO water. I know about it but hr won't take it at all. Am I OK giving him Robinsons No Added Sugar?? He is always interested when I drink mine and trys to grab it. I gave him some today and he loved it.

He's 6 months old.

watered down fruit juice! the same amout as if you making squash also tropicana do juice which is already diluted you will find in juice fridge at asda sainsburys etc

Don't give him squash - they all have artificial sweeteners in. If he really won't take water, and you think he's not getting enough fluid in milk, very very dilute fresh juice is best. But persevere with water!

He's your baby so its up to you! but personally i would go for milk and maybe a bit of diluted fruit juice. Will he take water that you are drinking?(if you know what I mean - from your cup?)

I have heard that people add sugar to water to get babies to drink it ! Might be better than all the nasty preservatives that go with squash drinks though.

Just give him more milk though really in this hot weather if you are worried and he won't take any water. I really don't get this whole cut-down their milk thing.

He won't take more milk (my LO is a pain in the bum). Might try the diluted fruit juice. He is very 'monkey see monkey do' so maybe if I pretend to drink it he will take it.

Will try this with water too. Have a doidy cup but he prefers my glass!!

MEN!!!!!!!!

Yup, unfortunately all my eating/drinking habits have vastly improved since I have little beggar child looking at me mournfully. She is 14mths and has tried just about everything!

(Still allow myself lots of tea though, which she says 'tea' and then shakes her head. She's allowed to look at it though!)
