Is Dijon mustard the same as Grain mustard?

Twiglett...have both but I am no culinary expert but wholegrain has more flavour and is also gritty it has cloves,cinnamon and ginger in it and dijon has not and is very smooth. What are you making? I use any dry white wine to cook with usually the one I am drinking from....I know in some books it says to use a good quality one but I have never had a problem with cheapo versions....goood luck for tonite

Yes, it has whole seeds in it - there is a French kind, not sure if there is an English kind too.

Dijon is hotter so go easy, I would. I'd use whatever dry white wine I had around. What are you cooking?
