Does anyone know the best way to turn a jelly out of a old-fashioned glass jelly mould?

Stand it in a bowl of hot water for a few moments.

Great! Thank you both, a panic was starting to set in that i would end up with 'jelly-mess' rather than nice 'bobbly-wobbly'

On a cooking programme the other day I saw a chef heating the mould with one of those blow torches.
Very resourceful.

It made a squidgy noise!

Hot water worked a treat, it slid onto the plate happy as can be.

Cant find it now though.

LOL! Well done!
Such a sense of achievement....

LL would agree if it were a plastic mound but I though glass and having been refrigerated would prob take a little longer.

I too had a liquified diaster once after dipping too long but it was a plastic mould.

Thinking about it,glas mould is fraightfully posh
