So I roasted a chicken that wasn't going to be eaten in time and took the meet off to make into chicken pies today. Some of the meat is a tiny bit pink so is is safe?

By the time you've cooked the pie, as long as the filling gets piping hot, any nasties that are there (which there aren't, necessarily) will be dealt with.

Where is it pink? Is it near the joints or the breast? Wouldn't eat pink meat on the breast but sometimes the brown meat near the joints can appear pink but is really ok. Zap in microwave for short time if nor sure.

well, I suppose you're going to be cooking it again once it's in the pie?

Anyhow, I often eat faintly pink chicken

Yes - the meat near the bone can be a different colour. Nothing wrong with it though!
