Can I use a stick cube instead?
It’s a slow cooker chicken curry and I’m making the mixture to sit the chicken in overnight

Yes, but dissolve it first in a bit of hot water to avoid lumps.

How many portions does it make? Two stock cubes could be too salty.

the original recipe is for 2 people (and says 2 tsp Bouillon) but I'm making it for 6.

4tsp of bouillon powder makes one litre of stock. What volume of stock does a stock cube make? I think it might be 500ml in which case, 2 tsp of bouillon equals one stock cube in terms of saltiness/flavour concentration.

Marigold bouillon powder* is the stuff of the gods in our house. Use instead of salt in slow cooked tom sauces, cheese sauces, rubbed on pork loins/chops before bbq-ing ... a sprinkle in pretty much anything lifts the dish.

*also known as magic dust!!

boullion powder is basically the same as a stock cube. just not pressed onto a cube.
I would use half a cube for 1 tsp of powder.
and yes, marigold is nice.
