...cereals in the shops. Just saw Weetabix with chocolate bits. Can anyone top that?

Any cereal with chocolate in it is wierd. How is that cereal, FFS?

CatIsSleepy · 12/06/2007 20:29

that's just wrong...weetabix is supposed to be WHOLESOME

jellyjelly · 12/06/2007 20:30

yuck yuck. I am very proud to say my 4 yr old doesnt nag for this sort of stuff as he has only had cocapops a couple of times.

Aitch · 12/06/2007 20:30

lucky charms. only lucky for dentists.

Boco · 12/06/2007 20:31

There is some ruthless pimping of cereals going on - everything is choco coated, frosted and honey dunked. Children must be going to school on a total sugar high

madmarchhare · 12/06/2007 20:31

Those cocopops (I think) with four different types in long tubes so they all mix up when pouring out

and those straw things

NKF · 12/06/2007 20:33

Straw things?

ds loves going to grandmas as she buys those variety packs and he always chooses the chocolate ones.

madmarchhare · 12/06/2007 20:33

yes, they drink the milk and it changes it to chocolate or stawberry flavour, hang on..

Strange isn't it? I begged and pleeded with my mun for one with chocolate on when I was a kid, but never got them. I swore that when I had my own house I would have them all. My favourite cereal is now puffed wheat! Can't stand the thought of chocolate anything before about 11am! DD gets cocopops on holiday, but other than that, its weetabix all the way.

Mercy · 12/06/2007 20:40

Blimey, that's scary Califrau. I had thought that Californians were pretty much into Farmer's markets, organic blah blah, the whole healthy eating thing.

Just goes to show. California is a state not a lifestyle.

[naive]

madmarchhare · 12/06/2007 20:41

I was confusing these with these

either way its not good is it?

NKF · 12/06/2007 20:43

Nasty. So that's what Nesquik is. I've often wondered.

OP posts:
Aitch · 12/06/2007 20:51

NKF, are you from abroad?

NKF · 12/06/2007 20:52

Aitch, how are you? No, not abroad. Why?

OP posts:
Aitch · 12/06/2007 20:57

i am fine, thank you very much for asking. although a bit teary as have just watched How TO Look Good Naked. never heard of nesquik... i think you must be a forriner...

NKF · 12/06/2007 20:58

Heard of it. Seen it. Wondered what it was. Not deeply wondered you understand. Just idly thought "I wonder what's in that yellow box" and then onto the next thing. And now I know. Marvellous thing MN. I've learnt so much.

OP posts:
Aitch · 12/06/2007 21:01

oooh, we used to love a bit of chocolate nesquik when we were kiddies. of course it's made by nestle so it's strictly off limits now. [gutted]

GibbonInARibbon · 12/06/2007 21:02

lucky charms. only lucky for dentists.

NKF · 12/06/2007 21:06
