If I want to cook plain ol’ chicken and vegetables, put it in and leave it til it’s done, would a pressure cooker be best, or a an electric steamer? I eat rice regularly, so think a pressure cooker would be best as I think it would double as a rice cooker. A steamer will cook meat/fish at the same time, but will a pressure cooker? I only seem to be able to find stew type dishes to cook in a pressure cooker, whereas I don’t want it cooked in a sauce. Is there anything else I haven’t thought of?
