Need a nice, choccy one. Promised to do it for after school tea with mums in local park.

I've got 100g dark choc and about 50 tonnes of left-over crappy milk-choc easter eggs.

"Here's Suzy Wong's recipe and instructions:
A 7 or 8 inch square tin lined with greaseproof paper/baking parchment and the oven set to 180/GM4 moderate oven.
A small saucepan in to which you put 150g butter 150g chocolate, at least half of it should be plain
On a low heat and let it melt together and leave it to cool slightly
Then beat together in a bowl 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 175g caster sugar Until creamy looking
Then sift in 100g plain flour 1 big tablespoon of drinking chocolate
And a quarter of a teaspoon of salt
Throw in 100g walnuts
And the chocolate and butter and mix well.
Scrape it into the lined tin and bake it for 20 minutes.
Then have a look at it, the top should be pale and cracking slightly, like a dried up muddy puddle, the body of the mix will still be slightly wobbly.
If it isn?t like this then leave it in for another 3 minutes.
Leave to cool in the tin and then slice into portions
DO NOT take it in to the bathroom and scoff the lot"

Never tried the lemon drizzle (nobody likes lemon here) I think this is the brownie one

CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

A 7 or 8 inch square tin lined with greaseproof paper/baking parchment and the oven set to 180/GM4 moderate oven.

A small saucepan in to which you put

150g butter
150g chocolate, at least half of it should be plain

On a low heat and let it melt together and leave it to cool slightly

Then beat together in a bowl
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
175g caster sugar
Until creamy looking, use a hand whisk or an electric one

Then sift in
100g plain flour
1 big tablespoon of drinking chocolate
And a quarter of a teaspoon of salt

Throw in 100g walnuts (Or alternatively chunks of milk chocolate) and the chocolate and butter and mix well with a spatula, but don't beat it. It should be smooth and glossy.

Scrape the batter into the lined tin and bake it for 20 minutes approx

Then have a look at it, the top should be pale and opaque with a couple of cracks starting to emerge like a dried up muddy puddle. The body of the mix will still be slightly wobbly with the edges looking like ordinary cake. If it isn?t like this then leave it in for another 3 minutes or until the first cracks in the puddle surface appear.

Then leave it in the tin to cool for 20 minutes.

this is what I found but sounds confusing. I need QUICK!

wait wait wait here comes the method: To make 9 generous or 12 small portions melt the 150g butter and the 150g chocolate (at least half of which should be plain) on a low heat in a small pan and let it melt together and leave it to cool slightly Then beat together in a bowl 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 175g caster sugar Until creamy looking, use a hand whisk or an electric one Then sift in 100g plain flour 1 big tablespoon of drinking chocolate a scant quarter of a teaspoon of salt Throw in 100g walnuts And the chocolate and butter and mix well with a spatula, but don't beat it. It should be smooth and glossy. and I'm afraid I'm going to need a lot more chatting to and general cameradery before I reveal the biggest secret . I'll be back on here in 3 hours, having started on the wine so if you could all pretend to be a bit tipsy too and tell me ....oh, what's going on in Eastenders, the gossip that I miss during the night and I would be much obliged. You didn't think I would give up the goods without getting as much attention as possible did you?

HI there,
this is the most simple recipe, and have used it a fair few times, and despite it's simpleness it really is delicious and chocolatey

Wicked Chocolate Brownies
-10oz/280g Baking margarine ( I tend to use unsalted Butter,, tbh)
-13oz/375 Caster Sugar
-1tsp Baking Powder
-3oz/75g Cocoa Powder
-4oz/100g Plain Flour
-4oz/ 100g Plain chocolate Polka dots (haqve also done this with white chocolate ones, also yummy)
-4 eggs

Line a small roasting Tin wiht Foil and grease well.
Measure all the ingredients together into a bowl and mix until well blended. This can be done in a processor, mixing in the polka dots by hand at teh last minute. Spoon the mixture into the roasting tin and level the top.
Bake in a pre-heated Oven 190C/375F/Gas5 for about 40-45minutes (obviously reduce temp if using a Fan assisted oven

Brownies went down like magic & dc didn't even get a look-in, as predicted.

Although delicious, I have to say that I found them a bit too greasy. I will scale down the butter next time.

HOnest, try the recipe that I put up, it really is great...I have 3 different Brownie recipes, and all are delicious, but this one is soooo easy and so yummy and not greasy and to heavy, iykwim....the simpleness of it is really deceiving, lol!
