For dinner I need to concot something out of:

Chicken breasts
Creme fraiche
Parmesan cheese

Potatoes
Frozen peas/mushrooms

We have no eggs and very little milk. Plenty of spices/seasoning. Lacking inspiration a bit... Really hoping fresh deliveries resume soon!

Chicken pie? I'm assuming you have dry goods like stock, seasonings and herbs....and flour

Cook some chicken then shred into a sauce made from stock with some of the creme fraiche and a bit of flour to thicken if need be. Maybe a splash of white wine if you have some handy. Lob in a few frozen peas and some sliced mushrooms and blob into a pie dish.

Mash up cooked potatoes and put over the chicken/veg mix. Grate over a little of the parmesan and shove in the oven took cook and brown.

Peel and slice potatoes to about the thickness of a pound coin. Layer in a lasagne dish and then pour over stock, to cover. Shove in oven for about 1 - 1.5 hours.

De-skin chicken breasts and put into an oven proof pan, on a sheet of baking paper (you'll be glad when it comes to cleaning your pan). Mix some of your creme fraiche with some grated parmesan, tomato puree, maybe some pesto if you have any, garlic - whatever you fancy that will make it taste nice. Spread this on top of the chicken breasts then add these to the oven for about 30 minutes. Serve spuds and chicken together. It's a tad colourless, but very filling and tasty.

I tend to use red pesto and soft cheese for this idea, and it slides off the chicken breasts. The creme fraiche you have will be a bit looser and will be worse - the paper stops it burning too much to the pan and you can spoon it over as a sauce for serving.
