I cook a lot from scratch and prepare ahead but I'm looking for some ideas of things I can buy from the shop with no prep like sausages/ fish fingers but still reasonably nutritious. Am a bit stuck

Mine love haggis with ready mash /mashed carrots and swede for the easiest microwave meal

Quickest ever meal I've found is fresh pasta, tagiletelli or filled pasta, a tub of fresh pasta sauce. I usually get garlic bread too. Garlic bread takes 5 minutes, pasta takes 1 minute to boil the kettle and 4 minutes to cook so a 5 minute meal and not much mess.

Also packs of gnocchi, tip it straight into a frying pan with a little oil and mix with sun dried tomatoes and pesto.

I buy the packs of meatballs (Morrisons do chicken/turkey ones as well as beef) and cook them through in a basic tomato pasta sauce, then batch out and freeze. Same with a basic bolognese sauce/mince - cook and batch up and you can serve with pasta/rice/mash/jackets or make Sloppy Joes.

Frozen mashed potato/mashed sweet potato (Iceland) is also a staple, as are Iceland chicken dippers and fish fingers.

Fresh pasta/gnocchi as a PP mentioned - keeps for ages in the fridge, easy dinner with a bit of cream, frozen peas and some ham/bacon/whatever cooked meat you've got.

Frozen rice means egg fried rice can be very quick and easy - just heat through in a frying pan with peas/sweetcorn/bit of meat and an egg.

My favourite lazy healthy kids dinner is egg fried rice with pouch rice and frozen veg, we've always got eggs in so it's a really quick store cupboard staple.

I heat some oil, chuck in rice (I get the whole grain pouches), and a handful of mixed frozen veg. Cook till heated through 4-5 mins, then break in 1-2 eggs and stir till cooked, about another 30 secs. If I've got leftover roast meat or fish I chop it up and lob it in too.

Ours have it at least once a week and love it!

Also the Jamie Oliver pasta sauce jars have loads of veg and no added sugar, so we always have them in for a quick meal too, again use whole grain pasta, they don't notice the difference!
