Please share your fave recipe books.
I have several and the ones we like and use the most are by Marcus Wareing and Tom Kerridge.
Got into being healthy so have all the Joe Wicks and Hairy Dieters-but although there are a few recipes in them I like I do find the majority a tad bland(especially after using M and Ts books)

I can recommend MW-Everyday Classics and Marcus at home
TKS-the dope diet

The River Cottage books, Made in India and Fresh India by Meera Sodha, and A Bird In The Hand by Diana Henry.

The ones mentioned especially Tom kerridge but also love the Anna Jones ones for some vegetarian variety

Diana Henry all the way! Simple is great, as is A Change of Appetite. River cottage veg, all of rick steins books, they never fail to impress and work out well. Yotem ottelenghi.

Nigel Slater ones are great

I am a collector of cookbooks and have neither of those- thanks for the recommendations Smile

My favourite cookbooks are Nigel slaters kitchen diaries . His recipes are often simple, and always delicious, but more than that , his writing is sublime. A love letter to food and eating.

I highly rate Diana Henry- her recipes are always clearly well tested. Never had a failed recipe from any of her books. Simple is my favourite , followed by a change of appetite. Roast figs and sugar snow is beautiful but written before Diana was at all concerned with healthy foods- it’s a delightful sugar carb and fat fest.

I also love a modern way to eat by Anna jones, and veg everyday by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall - these are my go to veggie books.

Another Nigel slater fan here, the kitchen diaries is one of my favourite cookbooks. His cake recipes are fantastic too, I regularly make his double ginger cake.

My favourite veggie book is the Asian Vegan kitchen by Hema Parekh, which is packed full of authentic recipes from India, Japan, Thailand, china, Korea, etc.

Another underrated book is Crumb by Ruby Tandoh. I found her irritating on bake off but I really, really like her recipes.

Thank you so much for the suggestions-lots to try!
Had a quick look on Amazon and found most of those books so will be adding them to my Xmas List ;)
Thankfully in the New Year we are extending our Kitchen so will have plenty of nice new shelving for cookbooks!!!!!!
