How to stop buns going hard

gscrym · 30/03/2007 05:46

I made cinnamon buns and they were really nice the first day I made them. After they cooled, I popped them in a box. When I went back to them, although they tasted okay, they were a bit hard and stale. Any tips on how to stop this from happening.

Is it an airtight box?

My mum used to freshen them up in the oven for a minute or two .

Sorry, been away for a few days.

Yes, they're in an airtight box. I could happily sit and munch a whole batch in a day but I'd be the size of a hoose!

Nothing wrong with firm buns, imo. Oh, you mean it's not that sort of thread...

Stop doing squats

gscrym · 02/04/2007 13:45

If I went to the gym and did more squats, I wouldn't feel lardy for eating a whole batch of buns then wouldn't need tips on how to keep them fresh.

I love my bun loving logic.

EAT THEM

Either refresh them for a short time in the microwave - or freeze on the day you make them and take them out as you need them. I freeze all my baking as I bake everything glutenfree and it goes stale quickly. Either defrost in the fridge, use the microwave if you can't wait, or put in lunchboxes frozen and they are defrosted by lunchtime.
