Sparkly edible glitter help please!

I've agreed to make a "shimmer and shine" cake for my 5 year old niece. I have a cake topper but want to do the top of the cake in half sparkly pink and half sparkly blue glitter.
Can anyone recommend any (ideally online) as the only ones I see on Amazon have reviews saying that they're not sparkly...
Thank you hive mind!

There has been a change in food safety rules, so now the only "edible" glitter is basically coloured sugar, nothing really shimmery on the market.
Unless you import something that's deemed US food safe, I think you'll need to reduce your expectations to less shimmery.

Try these?

Could you use the shimmer spray to add to the 'sparkle' I've used it and it does work pretty well, maybe in addition to some less sparkly edible sugar glitter

I bought some pearl dust powder stuff recently which might be good if you can't get edible glitter any more.

I have some stuff that is more shimmery than sparkly, it's a very fine powder that comes in a spray bottle and you puff it over the cake. It's edible and looks really effective.
Just checked in the cupboard, it's called ""Claire bowman silver pump-push edible glitter dust"

Glitter is either really glittery or edible. I agree the sprays are better, and potentially easier to use.

That said, the edible "glitter" can make good effects: gold on chocolate icing or ganache is very striking, and I recently did a space/galaxy cake using it to signify the Milky Way which worked well.

I get mine in little pots from Quality Save tbh.

Thanks all.
Darn those safety laws protecting our guts!
