Just checked my freezer. I have homemade burgers (beef and turkey) and meatballs in there too.

nogoes · 23/03/2007 15:18

I freeze anything and everything.

When pg I made sooooo much stuff ? sausage casserole, chicken casserole, spag bol, chilli, cottage pie, sweet & sour chicken, meatballs ?n? sauce, anything and everything. So much easier for those first few weeks after dd was born.

For dd now I cook off whole packs of sausages and freeze them in twos, also little portions of mincey/chickeny meals when making a big batch.

Thanks everyone esp skyler great ideas and songbird - thats the idea I am about to "pop" so to speak in 2 weeks and I think it is some sort of nesting cos I cannot stop cooking.

Just done another 10 meal batch of chilli.....getting bored of chilli now though so looking for inspiration!!! anything to keep up going through those strange first few weeks...........

No problem. Good Luck with the new baby. You will be grateful for your nesting instincts. I panic bought tinned tomatoes during my nesting phase. We had enough for a year

babysopiniontakesover · 25/03/2007 18:08
