after 6 months. make it watery as it bungs them up too. i find it gives dd immediate nappy rash even at 2 yrs.

MrsBadger · 21/03/2007 13:45

from 6mo I think unless you're especially worried re allergies and want to hold off gluten for longer.

clairemow · 21/03/2007 13:46

DS2 (6 months 3 weeks) has had it. No problems with bunging or nappy rash here. Phew! Nice if you mix it with some fruit too I think.

AnnabelCaramel · 21/03/2007 13:46

And be warned - it sets like concrete on the floor!

malaleche · 21/03/2007 13:50

dont want to put you off but i once used weetabix for an april fool stunt which involved me telling my siblings the cat had thrown up and then eating it off the floor with a teaspoon before their horrified faces...

i think you're supposed to hold off on the wheat and gluten even without a family history of allergies

Ready Brek has a much nicer consistency than weetabix if you don't have any luck with it.

if you are worried about gluten (guidelines say try from 6 months so far as I'm aware), try an oats porridge - Oatsosimple or something.

oh its not for me, my sister wanted to know when her 8month old could have a go with weetabix.

BigCookLittleCook · 21/03/2007 14:14
