What do people use when measuring grams of thick liquid like honey etc?

I only have a jug measuring in ml, and digital weighing scales with grams on.

Twice I've tried to measure out honey and peanut butter (not together), in the digiscales and it doesn't seem 'right' due to the consistency.
Any ideas? Many thanks 🍰

With something like honey, golden syrup etc I normally warm slightly to make it runnier and then pour into the bowl on the scales. If the measurements are in tablespoons then I find that very lightly greasing the spoon inside and out helps it slip off more easily.

I stand jar on scales and zero them. Taking spoonfuls out then shows a minus figure in grams if you see what I mean. So you know how many grams taken out of the jar.

Warm honey and syrup up in the microwave to make it more runny and then either weigh or measure volumetrically.
Just weigh peanut butter.

I use recipes that have those ingredients in tablespoons, or see if I can find an online converter.

I just guess.

I don't think I' ve measured it right, I think my breakfast bars are just going to come out like cereal 😀

And, by the way, careful with honey in microwave, bottle exploded and dripped every f*g where !!!
