I have just started getting these cos they were on offer and they're so much nicer than anything else I've been buying; really think and yummy.

Dh says they're not so good though as they've got more fat in them. He always reads the fat content more than I do in things.

The advert seems to promote them as healthy. Not that I seem to get bloated or whatever it is they discuss. Are they ok or is dh right? I don't want to go back to thin yogurts now!

You're best off buying plain yoghurts.
Look at the ingredient list.
Some nasty stuff in there.
They taste thick because they are full of starch for starters.
Even a non low fat plain yoghurt is a low fat food iyswim.

Steer clear of processed packaged food.

Oh humph - I know you're probably right though moondog.

You'd love my older dd. She's only 8 and eats plain yogurt/honey and museli for breakfast. She is becoming our nutritional expert and is very interested in what's good and what's not. A mini moondog in the making. You should hear her about McDonalds and I swear I never said anything about them either way to influence her!

lol
It's a lot bloody cheaper too.
You have to seriously question what you are paying for.
In the case of these,it is plastic and printed paper.

I note that in Netto, 500 ml of plain yoghurt costs about 50p. A little bit of stewed or pureed fruit with that and voila!

More cash to spend on nice wine!

I've never seen those ads as I don't watch tv, but I suspect most 'bloating'(which noone talked about 10 yrs ago) is due to overeating.

Hi all,

Can some one help me. I am looking for information on gravy or stock cubes for my bubba of 6 months. I have been told you cant give gravy or stock cubes so has any one got any ideas or advice as to what they did.??????

HELP

NappyChange · 19/03/2007 13:29

Bizzykid, when my dd was 6 mths I substituted the stock in cooking with just plain boiled water. Now she is 8 mths, I use Kallo Organic Vegetable stock cubes Low Salt variey that have just a trace of salt.
