I know there's probably already a thread somewhere but I've been away for a few days and only just saw this last night as DH taped it.

OMG what a difference in that woman! It was great to hear that it'd helped her depression. Is anyone changing their eating habits since watching it? I already eat fairly healthily but need to improve. Think I'll aim for somewhere in between that though it was too extreme for me. Still need my curry now and again

I saw this and was amazed at her change in attitude at the end. I felt, however, that we didn't see enough of the bit in the middle, i.e. we saw her at the beginning and the new her at the end but I didn't understand why she kept going, what motivated her. Scary dietician!

she was scary! My DH said she didn't look well but I said maybe she's v old and looks good for her age

It would be nice if they did a longer programme on it on E4 so that like you say we can find out the nitty gritty (or I'm I just mega nosey )

I was absolutely disgusted with that woman's attitute. Well, maybe it has a lot to do with the way she was brought up, but then again we can't blame all our problems on teh past. When I heard her squirming at the idea of having red pepper as a snack instaed of the rubish she would normally eat I was shocked. I was glad that she did change her attitude towards the end. But how can people survive exclusevly on junk food. It made me feel nauseous just looking at the type of food she used to consume. Not that I live on salad leaves and sprouted beans myself, but you need a bit of everything. And she was of such a bubbly nature and pretty girl too. What a shame she got to that state of neglect (can't think what else to call it). Thank God she's OK now.

yes branstar but she was a depressive putting on a front. I just hope it makes the viewers rethink their eating habits as sadly she's certainly not alone

When I started seeing the program I thought the girl was lovely, had a very good sense of humor and I only thought, Oh dear! she is so happy with herself and now they are going to make her an image freak.

I was really surprised about the amount of junk food she was eating, I may not aprove of that but I don't aprove either of people who is so fanatic about good health and good eating that rejects or condems fat people. At the end the girl was happy and her personality was very much at its place, so I was happy with the outcome

I emailed channel 4 (I don't mess about ) I know they probably won't do a longer E4 programme this time but it may make them think.

I think this lady will still have the odd treat as she didn't seem daft.

It's amazing how many people use food for comfort and appear to be jolly when they're aching inside.

I'm back on track now but I don't want to lose much. I had oats made with water and manuka honey for breakfast and it filled me up ( and tasted nice )
