Wanted - veggie Xmas food but with restrictions.

I need inspiration. I need a veggie Xmas dish that doesn't contain any nuts (no chestnuts - 3 nut allergic kids around), that doesn't need to go in the oven (turkey for 18 will be in the oven so my food will have to be stuck in the microwave last minute), that goes with all the usual Xmas trimmings and can be made in advance. Oh, and that isn't based around quorn (because I don't like it.)

Any ideas? Keep finding lots of lovely recipes but all require oven or nuts.

The turkey will be out early and rested, won't it?
Or do you not want it to be in a oven that has had turkey in it previously?

I'm having a brie and mushroom Wellington, and will do veggie stuffing (sage, onion, mushroom, chestnut) as well for me. Obvs the chestnut isn't right for your family.

Tempeh, fermented soya beans. Comes in a slab or slices from health food shops or ethnic stores. Marinade for flavour, fry quickly, then wave for a bit.

Will it? So I might be able to get some oven time.... I don't cook meat so have no idea. That makes things easier. Do you make your brie / mushroom wellington or buy it?

Make a fancy quiche or tart in advance then simply warm in the oven while the turkey's resting?

I make my Wellington... usually. Apart from this year, when I have bought it from Aldi. No idea if it's nice, but I hope so!

Yy, the turkey normally goes in for an age, then comes out and rests, and the potatoes etc go in at a much higher temperature.

Am trying to think of 'mains' that would be nice microwaved, and am drawing a blank. And I am by no means a microwave hater.

Brie and caramelised red onion puff pastry tart cook in advance in oven for 5-10 mins to warm whilst turkey resting. Easy peasy!

Someone on here suggested vegetarian kievs to me, which I made and put in the freezer yesterday. The recipe does have Brazil nuts but easy to swap for pumpkin seeds for example

Forgot to say, they are fried so no oven space taken up

Thanks all for your suggestions. I've decided to make this fennel and gorgonzola tart for Xmas Eve and heat up leftovers in oven for Xmas Day while the turkey is resting..

I get my turkey put to rest 45 mins before we eat, as I only have a small oven so need to get potatoes, stuffing and parsnips in.

I cover in foil and throw a towel over the top and it's always been fine and still hot.

I saw a beautiful aubergine and courgette "upside down" cake recently.
