Apart from Turkish delight of course...getting parents a voucher for a local Turkish restaurant, would like to put it in a small hamper with a few treats/cooking related items.
Any ideas welcome!

My dh is half Turkish, I would suggest Baklava, a Turkish cookery book prehaps and a little bottle of raki, maybe a few Turkish cookery ingredients to go with the book

Ooh yes, raki. They like a tipple. I've seen some olive wood chopping boards which look nice too. Does Turkish food generally have bread /dips? I seem to remember flatbread and ouls/dips but might be mixing my cuisines up..

Yes, lots of lovely bread and dips. You can also buy cans of stuffed vine leaves, some supermarkets sell them in the world food bit.

Houmous, tzaziki, flat breads, babaganosh, baklava, Rose water, olives, almonds, fruits, stuffed vine leaves (can buy in tin in supermarkets), Turkish cheese, yogurt

sigara boregi if you can get them. Filo pastry tubes filled with feta and parsley.

The red pepper paste in jars (can't remember the name but all Turkish shops sell it), olives, a tin of Turkish feta type cheese, pickles.
