Is it white chocolate?

pinkdolly · 09/02/2007 18:19

thanx for that. I like the sound of googlymoogle's. So will improvise with that one. Will let you know how it goes.

Ok, so we had the cheesecake last night and it was fab! So worth the wait.

We used the recipe that Goggglymoogly provided, but changed white chocolate for cadbury's dairy milk (dh doesnt like white). And used choc digestives for the base. And then obviously threw in some maltesers.

My friend who has had the cheesecake at a restaurant before said that our's was much better (yeah!).

You gotta try it, it is sooo nice!

I made the Baileys and white choc one linked to by GGM today - haven't eaten it yet, but the bowl-scraping was fabulous! The smell of the melted white chocolate as you mix it with the Baileys.....heaven! Can't wait to eat it later.

Well, have eaten it now. It was fab! I made a sauce from dulce de leche, cream and Baileys, and drizzled it around a mini cheesecake made in an egg ring, with a choc chip cookie base and the Baileys mix - no whiskey though. Absolutely gorgeous, can't recommend enough, please make this pud, it's fab!

(made a kiddie's version including the Baileys but plopping some maltesers in, and topping with crushed maltesters. DH and I had the pud without the maltesers but with the Baileys sauce.}
