Im 8months preg and have had a poo pregnancy.Im struglling and have felt shattered all the way thru.I havent slept well either so that hasnt helped.
I cant handle feeling like this much longer. Its my second child so am fully aware of the sleepless nights etc and understand it will be harder with a toddler.
I want to do everthing I can to ensure I am a picture of health as aoon as I can after the baby arrived.Like I said I know I will be tired anyway but if I eat a really good diet I will feel better than if I didnt. Can anyone advice foods or a diet that will help me lose weight very gradually(no rush) and give me lots of energy.I am interested in not eating certain foods with other foods to avoid feeling certain ways or things together that are not good for digestion or wind etc.ifswm

Are your iron levels low? Anemia in pregnancy and post birth is very common and can make you very tired.
Try to eat plenty of dark green vegetables, red meat, eggs and eat along side vitamin c rich foods to help absorb the iron.

GI diet best for keeping energy levels stable.. and it quite easy to feed rest of the family... best tip is to avoid sugar and white carbs which digest quickly and give you a slump... focus on oats and berries for breakfast, veggis soups and wraps for lunch and then meat and veg for tea -- or fish or non white pasta etc with good sauce...

No help to reassure you I found it easier with a toddler and a newborn, than with toddler and pregnant. And I have heard others say the same.

Sorry that should be "no help, but to reassure you"...

I did find it very hard, in the late stages of my second pregnancy. And DD was born in May and it was sunny and so much easier somehow.
