If something contains vegetable oil, does it contain hydrogenated fat?

Or does it have to say HF on the ingredients?

Only I really really like Iced Gems (those little biscuits which I am sure Moondog will tell me are full of crapola ) and I want to know if I can still indulge.

Not all veg oil is hydrogenated and I am fairly sure if it is they legally have to say it on the ingredients list.

By UK law has to say HF or partial HF if they are present.

TooTicky · 23/01/2007 13:19

Hydrogenated fats do have to be declared.

hurrah

I love Iced Gems and dd1 had one on Saturday and thought they were amazing. Dd2 doesn't like sweets () so unfortunately I had to eat hers.
