Just been looking up cake recipes and came across one where the first two 'ingredients' are
1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
Have frequently seen (mostly American) recipes or descriptions of how to make elaborate looking cakes, which start with a packet mix.
I have never used a packet cake mix and can't see the point.
