Have been wanting one of these for a while but I already have a food processor and a cheap hand held whisk so couldn't justify it. Anyway, just bought an old 901 model off ebay for ?45 (inc postage) and now feel guilty. Please can someone tell me what a good buy I've made or that it'll make such a difference to my life etc etc Pleeease!!

They are fantastic. I had an old Kenwood Chef that I got in a secondhand shop (paid £15 for it and later sold on e-Bay for over £50 ). It was fabulous, definately better than a hand held electric whisk. It was so good that I decided to upgrade to a new Kitchen Aid (chosen over the Kenwood due to looks). I use it loads and definately do more baking now I have it.

Thanks. I can go to sleep reassured now!!!If I don't use it much I suppose I can resell it on ebay. It wasn't the first one I bid on. They seem to sell like hot cakes and double in price in the last 10 mins of bidding. Just need to find a manual now.

I don't think I'll be able to sleep now- much too excited with the thought of a bargain as well.
