On a whim I bought some cinnamon sticks but when I got them home I realised I had no idea how to use them!
They seem almost impossible to grind to any sort of a fine powder, I'm us using the grinder attachment of a Kenwood Chef.
I've no idea if I pop them into my porridge in the morning, or into rice pudding, or use them as an infusion how many times I can use them? If I popped one into a jar of sugar would I get a lovely flavoured cinnamon sugar?
There are two questions here. Can you give me some practical examples of how to use these sticks? Or is it the case that this spice is one best bought fresh?
