Not sure if DD should be eating this stuff or not...

I've been quite mean with regards to what DD eats.
She is now nearly 14 months old. She has porridge for breakfast, a lunch and dinner which tends to be veggies and meat or pasta and meat, or fish and potatoes. She enjoys lots of different fruits and gets a few portions a day as a snack, as well as at least two yoghurts, one stick of cheese etc.
I'm just wondering if the following few food items that she seems to have taken a liking to pass your acceptable list, or if I should withdraw them:

  • Ritz biscuits
  • Mini Cheddars

They're not things that I have given her willingly, it tends to be when she's at my parents / the in-laws that she has been given these and has taken a liking to, but I'm not sure she should be having them, esp the Ritz as they can be quite salty? DH brought a pack for her the other day and now she keeps nipping to the kitchen and helping herself!

Any input welcome!

They're fine in moderation BUT put them out of reach!!! I find with DS 22 mths he will ask for biscuits, chocolates etc but cos he cant reach them I tell him we havent got any and he can be fobbed off with a banana or plum or something instead!

They're a bit salty, but as she's not having them all the time they're OK. She looks to have a good diet, and the odd treat isn't going to hurt.

I did have to laugh when she came running in with a pack of mini cheddars and threw them at me last night, but I did wonder if she should be eating them!!
I'll hide them in future (mini cheddars are DH's). She's really good with fruit, has a mango every other day to herself, plus a banana and often a few strawberries so I know she's eating the healthy stuff, just didn't know if I was undoing all her good eating with the bad stuff iyswim

I agree with WWW - as an odd treat it's not going to do her any harm. Just make sure you put them well out of reach
