Breadmaker help! Yeast already wet, should I use timer?

I've just put the ingredients into my breadmaker, but the yeast dispenser wasn't engaged properly, so the yeast has already been tipped into the bread pan and has got wet. I think I am correct in thinking this might stop the yeast from working?

I'd intended to use the timer, so the bread would be ready tomorrow morning, but now I'm wondering if I should start it up now (so it'll finish at 1am) and let it cool in the bread maker.

What option is best?

Too late now, but I am sure either would do.

I decided to set the machine to start at about 8.30 last night. DD woke up at about 3am, so after resettling her I got the bread out. It had collapsed a bit and was a bit wrinkly on top, but smelt lovely. Going to have a slice now.
