My DS has broken his right arm, and is right handed. The cast goes right up to his armpit and is awkward. He usually has school dinners, but I am thinking that is going to be quite hard one handed, at least to start off with, so I am thinking packed lunches for the next couple of weeks. This is where my problem lies. One of the main reasons he has school dinners is that he will eat most cooked veg, which is great, because he eats zero fruit. His dislike of the flavour is so intense he doesn't like sweets, jellies, yogurt, fruit flavoured ice cream. He also doesn't really like uncooked veg. This means his packed lunches look like the beigest things on Earth. So interesting ideas please. He loves meat, pasta, fish, sweet corn, peas, cooked carrots and broccoli (but I'm not sure if he will eat these cold). One thing that will go down well is cold pasta with tuna or chicken and peas and sweet corn. He is not keen on rice, and as I am trying to make lunch less stressful, I won't be doing this! He does sound incredibly fussy, but really isn't , and I will be cooking a balanced full of veg meal in the evening. He is 9 btw.
