there was a feature in The Times on these the other week, Rosie Millard I think did one for her children.

Was quite ££££££ iirc but they provide everything.

Will try and link.

lulumama · 07/11/2006 13:08

great website!!! can't find where they do the parties though..i imagine it is down south though.....i like the kids aprons....

JackieNo · 07/11/2006 13:08

Minimum for 6 children is £165 for the ones where they do it all for you .

JackieNo · 07/11/2006 13:08

It says they cover South East, London and Home Counties, but are looking to expand.

lulumama · 07/11/2006 13:08

£165 .......

oliveoil · 07/11/2006 13:10

my computer will not let me link but if you go on timesonline.co.uk and put in Splat you should find it

got good read up but I would think you would need a big house/kitchen

JackieNo · 07/11/2006 13:11

Here you go - the info on their website about the parties run by them.

ludaloo · 07/11/2006 13:13

£165 !!!!! They don't mention THAT in the leaflet!!!!!!!
It looks like they wouldn't come to us anyway...
They will provide stuff and post it though....

i did one of my own for dd on saturday just bought aprons and chefs hats in woolies made some pizza dough and got them to TOP THEIR OWN PIZZA then they had sought of ice cream factory for pud there were 10 kids she was 4 and they loved it!
did look at splat website for ideas though

Posey · 07/11/2006 16:39

That article in the Times was the one I was after as dd was at the party (she and Rosie Millard's dd go to the same Brownies) and dd was in 3 pictures (none of which is on the website).
Anyway dd had a good time making pizza and cakes, wearing chef's hats etc.
Pricey but all inclusive.

TheHighwayCod · 07/11/2006 16:39

is it posh

is soudns it
isnt rosie miillard absolutely horrendous?

oliveoil · 08/11/2006 09:35

she does enough articles to paper my hall, I know that much

always waffling on about money and how hard it is to live in a huge house and have a flat in Paris to rent out yadda yadda yadda

I don't mind her tbh but I think she lives in an ivory tower

Just wondered if anyone had yet been or hosted one of these? I have had great trouble getting them to phone me back and given this, combined with the high cost, means I am not feeling very keen on them. However, my 6 year old doesn't really like entertainers and instead likes doing 'activities'. I'm stumped for inspiration.
