Children's food at visitor attractions

Hi everyone, as a family with 2 children (9 years and 3 years) we often go out to visitor attractions for the day. We have noticed that the offers can vary so much from place to place. Some offering nothing for children, especially little ones, and food often being really unhealthy choices. Does anyone have any suggestions of attractions which do great children's food? What sort of food do you most like to see when on a day out? We do sometimes take a picnic but if it's a family day we do like to treat ourselves to the food on offer! Just curious to know what other people think about this. Thanks

I expect food at attractions to be vile....doesn't everyone? You surely don't choose an attraction for the food...unless you're going to a food market. We take a picnic or eat before hand but arriving unprepared is a high risk strategy....sure to end in disaster...depends what you are used to I suppose, dcs would happily eat in McDonalds - I wouldn't!

We just buy kids food off the regular menu, never had a problem tbh.

Most the museums in London have Nice paninis/ ciabattas, and then a hot option of various pasta/ quinoa/ couscous/ rice with roast veg or similar.

Most national trusts and zoos have on site full restaurants.
