today? have you got a pressure cooker? needs a long cook or might be tough. there's a really loevly recipe where it is cooked in white wine and egg n breadcrumbed but it takes DAYS.

I'm not having them over today - DH bought 1/4 of a lamb and I know what to do with the rest of it!

Oh bugger - days?! Should I stew it I wonder...

I've done a Jamie oliver one which involved cooking it and then putting it in bread crumbs and cooking again

otherwise there is stufed and rolled

Thanks for the links.

Does it taste nice? I'm a veggie(!) but am happy to cook it for others if it's good.

The tamasin day-lewis recipe just sounds like a posh stew to me

i loved it but haven't made it again it was too pesky. bet you do not want to be poncing about with removing bones, why not make the second one.

being a poor person we used to have breast of lamb on firework night. mum used to just rub garlic and rosemary over it and put it in the oven for about 3 hours.

it was very fatty but lovely.

We had it the other day, stuffed with breadcrumbs and herbs and then roasted. I cooked it in top oven of aga for hour and it was quite chewy. found outr later I should have cooked it long and slow in the bottom oven. quite tasty though.
