Freezing soup?

What do you freeze your soup in, apart from a freezer? :)

I have a soup mug that I take to work and microwave my soup in, but have just been given a full tray of tomatoes that need using and I have my soup made for the rest of this week.

So what works well for freezing soup?

i use a variety of take out cartons, foil dishes and those soup bags....depends really on portion size.

I use ziplock bags.

Washed-out milk cartons mostly.

Silicon muffin cases, allows for some portion control, quick defrosting.
When solid, pop them out and bag them up.

You could line your soup mug with a freezer bag, pour in the correct amount of soup, tie up and freeze in the mug. After a couple of hours it would probably be suitably hard enough to retain it's shape, so you could do another one (and rnd up with the soup in mug-shaped blocks). Then just take out of freezer before work and take inside soup mug. Defrosted by lunch!

I use the 'pour and store' pouches for soup and stock. Very strong and hold quite a lot
