I never know what to give DD who is 9 month old.
She doesnt seem over interested in food, but I feel I should keep giving a variety of foods in the hope of discovering what she likes.
All ideas welcome please.

I used to give ds sliced banana, crackers, organix crisps, bread sticks, rice cakes, cheese on toast cut into soldiers, eggy bread again cut into soldiers, yoghurts. Those types of foods for snacks.

Meal times I would do jars if having a busy evening/day or give him similar things to us, but mashed up with a fork. Example veggies mashed with a fork, mash potato, and small pieces of chicken.

I agree about the variety - give a range of sizes, shapes and textures and keep on giving them so she learns whaty she likes - at that age dd2 liked particularly chomping on a soft floret of broccoli, a chip sized piece of pear, weetabix or that sort of thing. She wasn't a big meat fan. Actually she was mad on toast and sandwiches. Noodles are easy as long as you just ignore the mess - i think too much worry about mess and 'how to' eat actually puts babies off trying new things, also I wonder if too much attention can put some children off too (even too much praise) and just leaving them to play with it for a while actually gets more in the mouth in the end. Sometimes anything in a sauce is rejected, so keeping everything quite seperate on the plate is good. Soft carrots are sweet and popular, chunks of sweet potato or roast or mashed butternut squash.
