simple ideas for ceramics painting party food boxes....

I'm thinking of doing a ceramic painting party for ds who will be 7 at our local ceramics cafe. They require the food to be brought in those party box or bag things and I am wondering what simple things to include (ie. not messy/not too much as they never eat very much/and appealing to most tastes). All ideas much appreciated !

You need Crunchie, who'll tell you how to do it at home!

I run home based ceramic parties and they really are surprisingly unmessy (and probably cheaper?) - so if you are any where near Kent...?

From the point of view of what food to take to a pottery cafe I guess simple sarnies, packets of mini jammie dodgers/iced gems etc, small boxes of raisins, cooked mini sausages, cherry tomatoes/grapes.....

Hey leave it to the professionals MI!!! I couldn't imagine hosting a party - I can just about cope with 2 kids and the ceramic paint

How many kids would you need there to be to make it worth your while Emma and do you cover Sidcup??

I almost hate to say it, but what about happy meals?

Twinkie, Yes could do Sidcup, usual minimum is 8 kids, contact me through my site if you want to. Just one small point, baby no.3 due yesterday.....so not taking bookings until June, but would love to help.

Oh and I do adults too! I have a great group of women in Maidstone who get together once a month for a session, great fun and some impressive results

essbee and I have been known to go along to the local cafe to do this on several occasions. It's great!

If you look online at childrens party delights or that type of thing, they sell plain food boxes and chip scoops. You could put a chicken strip, a chipola sausage and a couple of potato items in the chip scoop. Include some fruit, maybe a yogurt or a ceral bar and your sorted. Fairly cheap to do and if the kids don't eat it, I wouldn't worry. You could even add a toy instead of giving a loot bag at the end.
