That sounds ridiculous! When I used Nanny in 2001 it was about £7-£8. I bought it from the local health food shop called Revital - I believe they have a website, but I don't know what its url is. HTH

hiya,

I dont know how much it costs or the online address, but you can contact 0208 443 7089 Vitacare Ltd, middx who supply Nanny.

I have been looking for something cheaper than that but never found any, and then, before I order it I found some report specifying that goats milk formula was not very recommended as it is not supplemented with many vitamines the babies need, so at the end I decided to stick to normal one. However I understand that under certain circumstances that's the only option.
Good luck, hope you find it soon.

PS has your baby any allergy too?

chandra
she has a very irrabitable rash which upon removing cows milk from her diet went away and putting her back on aptimal. but i want to get her off the formula, so took her to a naturpath/homeopath yesterday and she tested her for allergies (with a very sophicticated machine i couldnt believe it) and cows milk, yeast, o/juice and choc came up as culprits - inherited from me! but i grew out of them. so her theory is that the allergy is not forever just eliminate the cause for period, and reintroduce. my dd is a picky picky eater and that doesnt help her digestion of full fat milk. so i am goingto give the nanny formula a go for a period to see if there is an improvement.

tried her on goats milk but the rash kinda flared up. so according to naturpath her digestive system is nt ready for it yet.

thanks to the other for the links,

How old is she?

DS has severe eczema (it was viscious last year but this year seems to be better), I have tried all the formulas but Nanny, and aptamil was the better, he is 14m old and still in formula.

If you are happy with Aptamil I found out that in Spain they sell the third stage of Aptamil that is for toddlers and babies older than one year, and it's definitively cheaper than Nanny. I will look for a link and come back...

I have found the milk name (Aptamil3) in a tin of aptamil 2 I bought when in holidays in Spain but have not had much luck finding somebody who could send it over to the UK... is known in most of Europe as Milupa Aptamil 3, hope you are luckier than me trying to find it..

chandra thanks for your help.shes 18mths. i am hoping its short term, the rash she has is more a prickly heat looking one , and then inflamed skin semi circles below her eyes. but it has really cleared since removing the cows milk/goats milk and keeping her on the formula.
