My Dsslove meatballs. I mix some really finely chopped onion with the meat, make marble sized balls and fry them for about five minutes. Then I take them out and fry some garlic, chuck in a tin of tomatoes let it cook down a bit and them put the meatballs back for about 20 moinutes.
When mine were younger i used to mince the meat again before making into balls to make it really easy for them to eat.

You can roll them (meatballs)around a cube of cheese for a different flavour too.

mosschops30 · 03/10/2006 14:43

do i fry them as balls then rather than frying the mince and onions first? how do they stay together? and what can you eat with meatballs, spaghetti/rice/chips/ I am crap at adventure

Make the raw mince (plus onions and herbs if you want) into the balls. Fry off until lightly browned. Then stick into a sauce and cooked for half hour.

We have with spaghetti or sometimes just big chunks of fresh bread/garlic bread and side salad.

Chuck an onion, some peppers, a little garlic if you like it and an egg into a blender and blitz for about 20 seconds. Add the mince and blitz for another minute until finely processed. You can also add some breadcrumbs if the mixture is a bit sloppy. Roll into meatballs and fry in a little olive oil until golden & cooked through.
Serve with pasta (any shapes) and pasta sauce.
You couls always serve with mash & onion gravy too

I don't use egg but add breadcrumbs when I want to bulk them out.
