Hi,
I have a really busy week and don't want to resort to cooking a load of quick crap this week so I have batch cooked.

I have made....
Tonight - Chicken and veg tortilla wraps
Monday - Chicken Tikka Masala
Tuesday - Shepherds Pie
Wednesday - Cheese & potato pie
Thursday - home made meat balls and veg in a tomato sauce (which I will add to spaghetti)
Friday - Lamb and veg in a sauce (which I will add to pasta).

Do I just keep all these in the fridge or do I need to freeze some of the ones for later in the week? If I freeze will I need to defrost first? Will they be ok to heat on hob/microwave?

Thank you for any tips!

Yes you need to freeze some. Typically cooked food is good for 2 or 3 days in a domestic refrigerator at 5C. Anything in a sauce freezes well. Small portions and things you can stir part way through cooking can be microwaved from frozen quite well. So your meatballs in sauce or chicken TM would be fine that way, for example. Larger more dense things that you can't stir - like a big Shepherds Pie - should be defrosted before reheating or you risk having very hot spots and frozen patches.

Agree with Cogito - anything with mash on top takes forever to get piping hot if its come out the freezer ( I tend to make a big hole in the middle to help it along-) - but usually I freeze the meat filling and put on fresh mash if I can , or put it with rice or couscous if I'm in a hurry
