Steam ovens - do they fill your kitchen with steam? and are they generally worth the money?

We need a new oven and I'm intrigued by the steam ones. We live in a damp climate though and are already prone to mouldy walls etc. Do these ovens make a lot of steam, either by continuous low-level leakage or in blasts when you open the door? And in general do they give noticeably better results?

Clicky I am interested in this too as touted to somehow be healthier way to book so just marking place really, sorry I don't know the answer. I am wondering if good for bread as I often add steam by way of spray bottle or water in a tray but steam injection would be more pro.

I use steam ovens at work and find them amazing. Really cut down on dirty/greasy pans, keeps food moist etc . I have a friend with a domestic steam oven, top notch brand/pricey
but great for rice, veg, fish, poultry
etc. Doesnt impact on her open plan
living space Afaik. In fact less steam/
moisture in kitchen as u arent
boiling pans /losing moisture with
poorly fitting pan lids. Steam ovens
dont work as efficiently at altitude, thats the only negative I can think of (in case you live up a mountain?)
