Anyone know where I can buy Brique in UK?

It is much better than filo, really good for little spring rolly type things etc

I know a French deli in London Fields that might have it - they do sell fresh-made b'stilla, which I think has brique around it?

Oh, I'd be looking for Moroccan food stores, more than Tunisian. Moroccans use brique, if it's the stuff I think, and there are way more moroccans here than Tunisians, ime.

CD, I haven't yet been to my local French deli, but tbh my hopes aren't high. It's a refridgerated thing, I'd expect, and they don't stock much of that.

But I have looked in Moro (the cookbook), and there are a few decent options in there. La Belle Boucherie, 3-5 Bell Street, 020 7 258 0230, Damas Gate, 81-85 Uxbridge Road, 020 8743 5116, le Maroc, 94 Golborne Road, 020 8968 9783, le Marrakech, 64 Golborne Road, 020 8964 8307.

Some of the others look possible, but I bet you'd find it at one of those.

I'm not sure all those still exist. The last two are "Moroccan" and the rest are "Middle Eastern". None are (listed as) wholesalers. Good luck, let me know how it goes, I might want brique someday. (I keep meaning to get rosewater. Bizarrely, I can get sumac in large quantities from our local shops, but I guess that's used in Turkish cooking as well as Lebanese etc ...)

Actually, though, it's yogurt with figs in that I really miss from France.

Oh, I hadn't looked at non-organic yoghurts - not that the french stuff was organic. I'll have to put that in my next order, thanks!
