Biscuit help

So I've got an awesome recipe for peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies.
They are delicious but they are quite crumbly and I'm wanting to make them a bit chewier.

Would changing the sugar to brown sugar help? Or maybe using less flour?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes you change to brown sugar, or reduce the amount of flour, or use (more) egg to help bind together, or add a bit of syrup. I'd prob try the brown sugar first. At least they'll still taste good while you experiment Smile

I'm hoping to avoid experimenting as I don't want to eat the results!

Syrup definitely sounds good,
I've got a tin somewhere. Would 2 tablespoons do, do you think?
Recipe makes approx 18 digestive sizes biscuits.

Should I reduce the sugar? Don't want them to be too sweet!

Dependng on quantities 2 tblsp sounds quite a lot especially if they're heaped but then depends how chewy you want them! Yes I would reduce the sugar

I'll try one tblsp, and add 70% of the recommended amount of sugar. And change it to brown sugar for good measure. I'll let you know how they turn out!!
