A resonably priced large non stick frying pan that I can use for everything !!

Brought one of those large Woks/ saucepans from M&S value range and not really impressed.

Cheers

Was going to suggest my tefal thermospot as have had mine for 6 years and it's almost like new but it doesn't have a lid. Dunno if they do ones with lids?

TwoToTango · 28/09/2006 20:25

I agree about the tefal thermospot - had mine about 5 years and its great. Woolworths are doing them for a good price at the moment - never seen one with a lid though.

TwoToTango · 28/09/2006 20:26

tefal thermal spot - am sure someone else would also recommend them - so just adding me vote if that is the case. No lid on mine either.

alibobble · 29/09/2006 20:39

aviatrix: heard that too but was countered by the fact that burnt food contains carcinogens!

terramum · 29/09/2006 21:05

Bought this last year. Its used most days & is still going strong. Most of my pans are Meyer ones - can pretty much take anything & the professional ones with the all metal handles can be used in the oven as well. Debenhams do them as well I think.

mummydear · 29/09/2006 21:13

My last one was an Anolon and had it for at about ten years. I think I may have to have another one.

trhis one

I have tefal thermo ones for small jobs, but for cooking chicken, curries, stir fries etc. that one is the best. I've had it a year now and it is still like new. It has really good heat distribution, and the non stick is excellent. I don't think I have ever burnt anything cooking in it! The tefal ones are starting to get manky after a year. Meyer non stick aren't that good neither, I have a complete set for them and eventually the non stick went for it, though the pots are excellent.

Kelly1978 · 30/09/2006 10:58

actually I lied, I've jsut remembered that I do still have the meyer pan. I find it gets too hot too quickly though, it isn't thick enough.

janeite · 30/09/2006 14:23

Mine's an M & S one but not from their value range. Was about £18 and I'm really pleased with it. Nothing sticks to it and it's easy to wash.
