What can I do with a boneless pork leg?

I'm a sucker for a bargain so bought this as it seemed a lot f meat for little money but it needs cooking tomorrow and I can't cook. Any easy recipes that don't use lots of other ingredients? If it involves the slow cooker even better :)

I think a boneless leg has a space down the middle where the bone was, shove an onion, some chopped apples, some garlic and sage down the middle, score the skin, make sure it's really dry, sprinkle with salt, then roast for a couple of hours at fan oven 160. Would be fine in the slow cooker but you won't get crispy crackling Smile

Thanks, that's just what I needed. Wouldn't eat the crackling so might try the slow cooker. Do you think I'd need to add abit of liquid too or would it cook in it's own juices? Thanks

Yes I would add a bit of liquid in the slow cooker to be on the safe side, some cider or apple juice is good, or water with a dash of cider vinegar. You'll get a gorgeous gravy. You're making me peckish!

Chuck it in the slow cooker with some cider. add carrots and potatoes round the edge and that's dinner done. Smile

Slow cooker pulled pork. Make a dry rub with garlic, smoked paprika, chilli powder, brown sugar and rub all over the pork. Be sparing with the paprika and chilli powder, if children are going to be eating this. Put it in the slow cooker, with enough cider to come about 2" up the joint, and cook for 12 hours.

When it's cooked, it will shred with a couple of forks, and you can mix in BBQ sauce, and serve it with apple sauce in a soft roll. Delicious! I either make coleslaw or buy it, to go with.

It's a MN recipe.
