"Woolly" courgettes! What can I do with them?

I grew some yellow courgettes this year and I'm really disappointed as they're quite "woolly" in texture and don't have a lot of flavour. Trouble is I've got quite a few! What can I do with them that will conceal their strange texture? I thought maybe a soup, but not sure what else.

Depends on the size. Unless they're tiny, they are much improved by removing the wooly, seedy centre and leaving the tasty skin and the rest of the flesh. Then use as you normally would.

Some varieties of courgette just don't have much flavour, though.

Courgette cake?

I made a courgette and brie soup and it is lovely or you could put them in a tangine.

Use them with peppers/ onion/ garlic/ cherry toms/ mushrooms/ aubergine + some herbs/spice to taste in a roast veg or roast veg/ potato combo

I just chop, remove wooly centres, and use in any of the food I am cooking. Curries, pasta, roasts, chillis.

Thanks all. They're pretty small actually and still not nice. The Brie and courgette soup does sound nice though.

Am definitely going back to growing green ones next year.

Might I suggest courgette Romano? Best variety I've ever grown.

Really, Awkward? That's good to know. Thanks!
