Yes, you'd be surprised what will grow here, it's amazing! We have got chickpeas, mung beans, pinto beans - all sorts of stuff

Haven't seen the fresh frozen ones, I don't live near a tesco - but I imagine they would be pretty good. They sound very cheap too!

z - are you saying that these are really 10p for a bag of frozen beans ?

They are LOVELY to eat. Great source of protein, apparently good for your cholesterol levels etc. etc. I saw an ad for them (we usually buy Edamame from a Japanese supermarket - the beans are in their pod and they are DELICIOUS).

They do taste a bit like ordinary peas / beans. Nice. Deffo get a few trial bags. I saw a nice recipe idea which was soya beans with green beans / haricot with a slighty spicy / zesty dressing.

I've tried the frozen soya beans - they come in a 480g bags from Birds Eye I found in them in my local supermarket. They taste delicious! Quite sweet with a bit of nutty taste- was very pleasantly suprised. They contain loads of vitamins so great for the family. I threw some into a bacon risotto I made the other night - they kept there shape and didn't disintergrate at all. Definitely a fan and they are very versatile to add to stir fries and soups as well.
