Recipe generator based on ingredients in my fridge/cupboard?

Is there a website that will suggest recipes based on the ingredients I already have?

I am absolutely rubbish at putting ingredients together and making something edible!! Tonight's tea is still unplanned. I have lots of ingredients but don't know what to make.

Not sure about websites - but give us a few of your ingredients and we'll have a go at suggestions!

I love EatYourBooks.com, although it's not really a recipe generator - I have used it that way, but usually only enter a couple of ingredients at a time. Basically you add what books you own and it acts as an index to them. It also has links to LOADS of online recipes. With a free membership you can add up to 5 books, but as many online recipes as you want.

Clear as mud?

I've been using my cookbooks a lot more since joining.

This is a US site but allows you to add in the ingredients you have.

Thanks :)

I have:
Cod
Salmon
Cream cheese
Passata
Cheese
Rice
Pasta (but would rather not use)
Green pesto
Tinned tuna
Eggs
Frozen spinach

My sister is eating with us tonight and I have a feeling she doesn't like cheesy/milk-based meals but I'm not sure the fish will go particularly well in a tomato-based recipe.

Googling your list of ingredients with the word recipe on the end works well! But I agree with PP - write your ingredients here and receive suggestions. My favourite meals are often the ones invented from random fridge/cupboard items. Smile

BBCGoodfood.com is quite good IME for playing fridge roulette, as you can search by ingredient.

Sainsbury's have recently launched this which sounds about like what you are looking for

Want to say I love eatyoubook.com for this too.
